Classical Asian Medicine
Āyurveda, Tibetan Medicine, Daoist Qigong
“A true physician is a healing presence. He heals with the Life-Force, with the unobstructed feeling and free attention that he brings to the so-called ‘patient’, who is not a mere problematic symptom to be ‘cured’, but an individual, a whole body-mind.”
Initial Visit (New Patient)
2hrs | $295
Asian medical systems emphasize the need to understand the whole person. The initial visit begins with with an inquiry into the reasons for your visit—your chief complaint, secondary complaints, symptom patterns, concerns, goals. I will ask you questions pertaining to your physical health, such as appetite, diet, lifestyle patterns, and also inquire about your mental-emotional health. After the initial intake is concluded, I conduct a physical examination and traditional diagnostics, which includes taking the six organ pulses of both wrists, observation of the tongue, palpation of the abdomen, and assessment of structural integrity. On this basis, dietary and lifestyle adjustments will be recommended alongside a regular treatment regimen with moxibustion, Qigong, herbal formulas, or another appropriate form of treatment.
Distance patients: For patients living at a distance, health consultations are offered via Zoom and are focused on dietary, lifestyle, and herbal recommendations.

Follow-up Visit (Returning Patient)
1hr | $150
Follow-up visits begin with an assessment of your current progress and response to treatments. This is followed by treatment with moxibustion or Qigong. Healing is a process and consistency is one of its keys. I strongly recommend patients come weekly until a baseline of healthy momentum has been established. Regular treatments maximize efficacy and also help your practitioner gain the needed insight into your constitution, condition, and nuanced response to the given therapies. The goal is for the frequency of treatment to gradually become seasonal and purely preventative in nature.

Wuji Qigong Treatments
In person: 1hr | $150 / Distance: 30mins | $75
“Wuji” is an ancient Daoist concept that describes the embryonic field of all manifestation. In Daoist cosmology, the Dao gives birth to the Wuji. The Wuji, in its infinite space, provides the context and energetic medium for the arising of the conditional world (or Taiji). The Taiji gives birth to the polarity of yin and yang, the three humors, and the five elements. Thus, the Wuji Field represents the pre-natal condition of energy, the unobstructed harmony from which the polar forces of yin-yang and the five elements eventually form.
Wuji Qigong is a modality of energy healing (or “medical qigong”), orally transmitted from Master Li to my teacher, Master Jane Yang. One of the most noticeable effects of a Wuji Qigong treatment is the release of psycho-physical tension—patients commonly describe a feeling of deep and even profound relaxation during the treatment. When the body comes into resonance with the golden light of the Wuji Field, the entire being is coming into harmony with the Field of Energy that exists prior to imbalances. It is precisely by "resonating" in this Field of Energy that fundamental and deep-seated tensions are spontaneously released. Wuji treatments are also effective in clearing psychic disturbances from negative environmental influences.
